How does one who thinks God is omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent and not bound by time deal with certain scriptures that seem to deny all of these attributes ? Does a being like God “change His mind” ?
Then there are scriptures that seem to contradict the idea that God changes His mind. Isaiah 46:9-10 Isaiah 55:11 There must be a way that explains how both of these conditions can exist simultaneously and not contradict. Here is mine. In eternity God has always known everything and before He created anything knew the beginning and end of it all. The prayers made to Him that are recorded in scripture were known to God in eternity and His answer predetermined then and applied at the specified time. My wife was diagnosed with malignant melanoma in 2007 and our small group of saints sat her in a chair and all laid hands on her asking God to heal her, God did. I believe that God in eternity knew that in 2007 this would happen and before He created anything incorporated into His will to heal my wife. I believe that God did this with everything, even when a sparrow falls to the ground or even one hair falls from your head. Matthew 10:29-30 Our God is far greater than some people know, this is a deep thing. Things to us appear as time and chance but it’s not that way with God. God is in all time and places with all power and knowledge simultaneously and eternally.
