This all started with @GraceMade sharing this video of Amanda Zarate giving her testimony. I immediately reached out to her to get to know her and find out more about her non-profit Fighting For Me. This then lead to me getting the kindle version of her book which I read in two days as I could not put it down.
The book is extremely well written and takes you on a roller coaster journey of her life. Much of the book gives particular insight to how the congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses she went to handled the confession of her abuser and yet did nothing to rescue or protect her.
I don't want to give any spoiler alerts but the good news is Amanda is a woman of faith and someone I call my sister!
Suffice it to say I highly recommend reading this book.
