Let this verse speak to you, 1 Corinthians 15:21 , A man Adam brought sin and death into this world therefore A MAN also brings a resurrection from the dead. It says through a MAN. IF Jesus was raised from the dead in any other form then just a man then what would be the proof that a man died but now a man lives. The Apostle John never saw a glorified Jesus because he had no idea of what we will be, 1 John 3:2 , John had to see a man who was dead living again and that is how-all the Apostles were witnesses of his resurrection. This knowledge gives Luke 20:36 better understanding . Paul was the only Apostle to see the glorified Jesus and the sight of Jesus blinded Paul. Jesus told his disciples that he was flesh and bones, not a spirit, this is true but Jesus could not be glorified either, Jesus had to be a MAN. IT IS A VERY HUGE ERROR TO ASSUME THAT JESUS WAS RAISED FROM THE DEAD IN WHAT IS CALLED GLORIFIED FLESH. I HAVE POSTED ARTICLES ON THIS FORM THAT EXPLAIN IN DETAIL FROM THE SCRIPTURES THAT THIS IDEA IS FALSE. It is a biblical fact that the Holy Spirit could not be given UNTIL JESUS WAS GLORIFIED. Jesus said that the Spirit would not come UNLESS HE WENT AWAY. Jesus had to ascend to the Father and be glorified and while ascending was changed because flesh and bones could not enter the kingdom of God. Do you see that it is important to know this truth as much as it is to know Jesus was not God. So then, if the Father has opened your mind to see this truth, it is a day of thanksgiving.
