God does not trust His own angels (Job 4.18; 15.15), that's why He will destroy some of them (Mat 25:41)!

Correct, angels are not inherently immortal. Some already have been given or will be given immortality while some others, who have sinned, will be destroyed in the lake of fire.

Luke 20:36 . Angels are indeed immortal. Everlasting life, living forever and immortality all mean the same thing. God’s immortality is different as God has no beginning or end whereas all other spirit beings have a beginning but no end. God is eternal and no other being is and He alone has eternal immortality. There has never been a condition where God has not been living. Being given immortality is receiving salvation, angels are ministering spirits to those who are heirs of salvation. The heirs are humanity not angels because God did not make an angel His heir but He made a man His heir, Jesus. Hebrews 1:14 Hebrews 2:5-7 Angels are not destroyed as they are composed of spirit just as the saints will be in the resurrection. The punishment that carnal people call hell, a place of never ending separation from God, is actually the punishment for Satan and his angels . Satan is not killed while in the bottomless pit.
