The assumption is that Jesus was born under the law , but the prophets say that Jesus is the new covenant personified. Isaiah 42:6 Isaiah 49:8
Galatians 4:4 The comma after woman should not be there, Galatians 4:5 to redeem those under the law. It was the woman , Mary, his mother, that was under the law not Jesus. Jesus did not have to redeem himself. Jesus was the new covenant in the flesh, the central figure of the gospel, of salvation. Jesus fulfilled the law with the love of GOD. Romans 13:10 Jesus was Lord of the Sabbath, not of a physical rest but a spiritual rest. The saints stop the physical rest, stop trying to keep a law that only produces death, to let GOD work in them in HIS love. No one can be in both covenants at the same time. Jesus did not break the Sabbath or any law of the Ten Commandments but fulfilled them all with the love of his GOD. Isaiah 42:21 and here’s is Jesus saying it , Matthew 22:37,38,39,40 Mark 12:30,31 no commandments are greater than these. The two commandments of love are greater than the ten.
