While I suspect that many have discovered that the doctrine of the Trinity was a work of The Deceiver, that corrupted being is still at work today. I see that one of his most successful methods of brining corruption to his Earth is to see "compromise" as a virtue. In the U.S. it has become of badge of virtue. The cry of "can't we just get along?" has reached the point that compromise has become superior to Truth.
Isn't it interesting that the first couple chapters of Revelation focus on the seven churches and speak of those churches which have compromised themselves and departed from the truth? Yet, Yeshua also spoke of those in all seven of the churches who would come out from them and be rewarded. So, it appears that some of those in "seven churches" will survive - but some will not.
Rev 2:7 To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.’
Rev 2:11 The one who conquers will not be hurt by the second death.’
Rev 2:17 To the one who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, with a new name written on the stone that no one knows except the one who receives it.’
Rev 2:26–28 The one who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received authority from my Father. And I will give him the morning star.
Rev 3:5 The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels.
Rev 3:12 The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name
Rev 3:21 The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.
Compromise is one of Satan’s favorite and most effective weapons because:
a) It never occurs quickly so you hardly notice the change.
b) It always lowers the original standards you once held important.
c) It is seldom offensive because it is perceived as loving.
d) It eventually leads you to accept what you once rejected and even thought repulsive.
It has been well said what one generation tolerates, the next generation will accept. What that generation accepts the next generation will celebrate.
In my view, the key dividing line has been the establishment of the doctrine of the Trinity. It was discussed, argued over, voted into being by two majority votes, and then enforced by religious leaders through threats, violence, and assassinations. What was once a corruption was compromised into a "truth" by arrogant people that call both Yahweh and Yeshua deceivers.
