Ancient Israel was given a set of laws in the Law of Moses, Leviticus 10:10 Leviticus 11:1-47 Just as I have shown in the post about leaven these clean and unclean laws , these shadows, when having the light and substance of Christ shine on them , teach us that if you have the Holy Spirit you are clean despite the fact that man himself is an unclean animal according to the law. If you do not have the Holy Spirit you are unclean. It is about Spirit not flesh, Spirit is clean, flesh is unclean. This is why we are told not to live according to the flesh and why we are told to not be carnally or fleshy minded because that is death but to be spiritually minded is life. Jesus said it not what you eat or the things going into you that defile you but what comes out of you. Mark 7:14-19.
