JESUS’ FINAL WEEK
Jesus final week – why is it called Passion week? This month allow Jesus teach you about:
His Selflessness. His love for his mother; compassion to Mary Magdalene; kindness to Judas and forgiveness to soldiers. His unconditional love fits the description of 1 Cor 13:4-7.
His Suffering. 1 Peter 2:21 (above) does not refer to our efforts to externally imitate him but to the Holy Spirit empowering us from the inside in reproducing Jesus, even through suffering.
His Salvation. Jesus’ death not only means forgiveness but our eternal righteousness (2 Cor 5:21).
