When I read that scripture I think of how so many of our loved ones still in their high control religion are not taught to really rejoice in true truth. They are taught to shun and explain away non-scriptural behavior. I pray their eyes will be open soon so they can escape and experience true Christian freedom.

Lori, your prayer has already been answered as God has provided a way to salvation for all people but it happens in stages; here and now, during the tribulation, in the millennium and at the great white throne, each person in their order as God determines. God is not willing that any should perish but that all come to repentance. Pray thy kingdom come and we know it will.

I so agree with you. And I also pray for our loved ones to see TTATT and will come to know real spiritual joy and freedom as christians. 'The truth will set you free'

'it happens in stages'. Never thought about it that way. Interesting.

In this present time we know God is not calling everyone who has ever lived. In the great tribulation there is an innumerable multitude and the 144,000 that will be in the first resurrection then in the millennium the people who survived the tribulation will all have the Holy Spirit as will the people in the second resurrection. There is not just one day of salvation but several.

Oh ok. I was talking about people in high control religion and cults that spiritually wake up from their enslavement in the present time specifically. Lori' s husband is still a jw and I still have 9 relatives in the watchtower cult as well. I believe after Jesus comes back everyone will know 'the truth'.

You are correct. Those people who repent during the tribulation will live into the millennium and everyone will have the Holy Spirit and their first opportunity and hope for salvation. Today there is always the possibility that your relatives and Loris’s husband could repent before the tribulation.
Remember Jesus said REPENT and believe the gospel. This shows us Gods mercy and the truth that our loved ones alive or dead are not burning is a fictional hell. 1 Corinthians 15:19

What you and Lori did was hear the voice of Christ calling you both out of the Witnesses. You both stepped out in faith not fully knowing where you would go just like Abraham who obeyed the voice he heard and went out not knowing where he was going. Now you both have found what you were searching for and that good thing cannot be taken from you. Your loved ones have yet to experience what you both have, but God guarantees that they will. It may not happen when you would like but when God knows your loved ones are ready. God knew your times and He knows the times of us all and when the time is right God will call and they will answer. I too have loved ones who are yet trapped in the false church I came out of and I trust and have faith in God that in the time best for them He will bring them out also. For God so loved the world.

Yes, I agree. It is temporary if they don't 'wake up' or repent now. But we would like to see it now of course and rejoice as one family, our own family , the ones closest to us. And all others who are still in, cause we love them too
