In 1913, by a simple vote in congress the Federal reserve act was passed. This act was then signed into law by President Woodrow Wilson. From then all control of our nations money was given over to a cabal of private bankers. This has caused all the economic problems our nation has faced since that "law" was made. Below is information directly from

No, a branch of the federal government cannot simply designate powers granted to it by the Constitution to someone else solely through an up-or-down vote in Congress; the Constitution outlines specific powers and procedures for their exercise, and those cannot be altered by a simple vote.

Here's a more detailed explanation:

  • Enumerated Powers:
    The Constitution assigns specific powers to each branch of government (legislative, executive, and judicial).
  • Separation of Powers:
    The principle of separation of powers ensures that no single branch becomes too powerful by dividing responsibilities and providing checks and balances.
  • Checks and Balances:
    Each branch has the power to check the actions of the other branches, preventing any one branch from acting unilaterally.
  • Constitutional Limitations:
    The Constitution sets limits on what each branch can do, and these limitations cannot be circumvented by a simple vote.
    • Congress can legislate (make laws), but the President can veto those laws.
    • The President can nominate judges, but the Senate must confirm them.
    • The Supreme Court can declare laws unconstitutional.
  • Non-delegation Doctrine:
    As a general rule, the legislative branch cannot delegate its lawmaking responsibilities to another branch.

    Implications:
    If a branch could simply vote to give its powers away, the entire system of checks and balances and the separation of powers would be undermined.

    Every depression, recession, all inflation and debt that has happened since 1913 has been caused by the Federal Reserve. This problem is not limited to the United States because almost every nation on Earth has a central bank.

The problems started a long time ago. Once it began, and people started looking at the Federal Government as their Nanny, it has grown uncontrollable. It became a monster when the U.S. Supreme Court did not squash it.

Per the listed website:

What the Federal Government's responsibilities are:

Defense, war prosecution, peace, foreign relations, foreign commerce, and interstate commerce;

The protection of citizens’ constitutional rights (e.g. the right to vote) and ensuring that slavery remains illegal;

Establishing federal courts inferior to the Supreme Court of the United States;

Copyright protection;

Coining (and printing) money;

Establishing post offices and post roads, a road designated for the transportation of postal mail;

Establishing a national set of universal weights and measures;

Taxation needed to raise revenue to perform these essential functions.

The Tenth Amendment states that all prerogatives not explicitly given to the Federal Government, or explicitly prohibited by the states are reserved to the states or to the people (citizens). Our Federal Government has been prohibited, via our Constitution from handling any issues not explicitly listed in the Constitution; their prerogatives are limited to what the Constitution explicitly states.

It is a false claim to say that there is a balance of power between the Federal Government and the States. It is more correct to say the states are sovereign and the power of the Federal Government is (supposed to be) limited. The members of congress and Federal judges don't seem to understand that.

Here in PA in 1791 to 1794 when Washington was president we had what historians call the whiskey rebellion. Contrary to historical accounts it was an unfair tax put on making whiskey that was an effort to drive out of business the small operations. The excuse used by the government was that the tax was needed to pay off the national debt from the revolutionary war. In reality it was done to drive out small competitors to insure a monopoly for the big distilleries, some owned by Washington, Jefferson and Franklin . When the small distilleries refused to pay the tax Federal troops were dispatched and the killing ensued. The rebels were crushed and the survivors put out of business. Even from the beginning this nation has been corrupt.

Power corrupts - and the stories get told by those who benefit by the person who pays them.

There is no such thing as the mystical word "fair." It cannot be defined in a way to is acceptable to everyone - hence, it never is. It always depends on the person's situation and view.
